Rooted in 40 years of competition, shaping, design, fabrication, sanding/finishing, testing, and development, and backed by 24 World Titles/Records (14 as an athlete, 10 as designer-shaper), FMX Racing’s heritage began with Finian Maynard’s windsurfing board-building journey in Maui, Hawaii (1991). Learning from legendary pioneers in the windsurfing mecca of Haiku forged a solid foundation for lasting success.

We design with the latest 3D CAD software, shape with multi-axis machining, and facilitate every technical step of the master protos to ensure accuracy and precision of the moulds and final products. Our r&d loop (concept, design, prototype, test, iterate) and a close collaboration with the Kinetic production factory ensures the market-leading build and finishing quality, delivering performance you can trust.

• Construction – For several years our construction process and finishing has set a new benchmark in the industry. Each model has a specific and individually tailored custom layup for all of the Invictus Pro and Hyperion dedicated racing models utilizing a significantly higher quality and quantity of lightweight carbon fiber per hull than our main competitors. This max go for it approach results in an industry leading strength-to-weight-to-stiffness ratio amongst EPS core boards, delivering unparalleled performance and durability you can rely on.

– Additionally, all Veloce GTS/LTD freeride, Diablo wave, and the all-new Invictus GTR models are also crafted to an exceptionally high premium standard. These constructions all ensure best in class superior durability and performance, reaffirming our commitment to providing top-tier, reliable boards for demanding riders.

• Technical Design – Utilizing state-of-the-art CAD software and high-precision multi-axis CNC milling, we uphold the strictest quality control standards throughout the entire prototyping and master board manufacturing process. Every technical step is verified to guarantee 100% accuracy to the original design files.

– All conceptual r&d, file processing, designing, final shaping, cutouts, finish sanding, modifications, and tuning of prototypes are performed in-house. This unique full suite technical approach, combined with advanced design talents & capabilities and a top-tier factory production facility, ensures each product meets our exacting standards. It is that subtle hands-on touch that makes the products special.

• Quality Control – Our production process features high-precision finishing, including razor-sharp rails and water exit releases in the tail, all sanded to precise tolerances. This attention to detail ensures that each production board maintains the same quality, performance and feel as the original master.
